Gulon Mein Rang Bhare feat. Ali Sethi
I return to my terrace in Ahmedabad, every evening,
in the days of Quarantine,
dancing, hoping for the return of better days.
Reading poetry from across the border, understanding again its meanings in our times.
Ghazal by: Faiz Ahmed Faiz
Composed by: Mehdi Hassan/Salim Shahid
Rendition by: Ali Sethi (Coke Studio Season 12, Episode 4)

Dalnyacha Mishe feat. Shruthi Vishwanath
Quarantine allows for rethinking so many foundational beliefs,
for one, what experiences make a dancing body.
Here, I dance rather nervously to a Marathi abhang
attributed to Janabai's writing within the Varikari repertoire,
exercising her agency in literature and society.
Composed and sung by Shruthi Vishwanath
Banjo: Vedanth Bharadwaj
Satangi: Yuji Nakagawa

Hum Gunahgar Aurten ft. Syeda Hameed
The pandemic is proving that even it will abide by structures of society as is.
The lockdown has been inhuman, it has shown us the worst sides of the State.
Those that make homes, those that work with hands,
those that offer their lives as labour have been denied dignity.
What of the women within them? Twice forgotten.
I perform to a nazm by Kishwar Naheed in the comfort of my home,
unable to imagine the feet of women walking the roads hungry.

I will not be Sad in this World ft. Djivan Gasparyan
I am trying to heal an injured body.
A recovering body is so fragile, it is ambitious,
it moves towards healing and then at the slightest breaks down,
it learns and relearns pain, inability, vacuum.
The injured body reinterprets time
and finds a new axis to plot its linearity on space.
It repeats itself far from perfection.
