Produced by ethnographers and filmmakers - Instrupad, in collaboration with Goa Sunsplash, this film depicts the rise of the Indian reggae scene witnessed at the annual reggae festival in India, Goa Sunsplash.

We have unscripted conversations with the living legends of Reggae music, who've assembled in north Goa for the 'Goa Sunsplash 2018' - the first of its kind in south Asia - to trace the origins and consequences of this music genre

. "Reggae is what you make of it. For some, it stands for 'one love', sure. For others, its revolution" - Neil Fraser aka Mad Professor Welcome to 'Reggaeology', the story of a movement through sound, and the new wave of Indian Reggae.

For us, 'Goa Sunsplash 2018’ represented the convergence of the upcoming Indian Reggae scene and the people involved with it. It was the ideal starting point to understand the origins and core message of this genre, the meaning it holds to its followers and the potential movement in the country.
