What relevance does Television hold today
in competition with an increasingly personalised,

accessible digital world?

In a study across 10 semi urban and tier 2 cities in India, we try and take stock of what the future of television is and what it means for its viewers. The study also tries to understand who these viewers are and charts their aspirations and understanding of life through the television shows they watch.

The result of this study was conclusive:
Television is the biggest carrier of progressive values for the family setup in India today. It is one of the only space where families come together and take part in society and social values. It may just be the last remaining space where families come together routinely.

Family is the future of television, and vice versa.
